Who was he? And why is he immortalized on the facade of this building on 6th Avenue?
I looked it up on the internet and found some very interesting history. The Ruegger’s owned the business for about 100 years. The buildings themselves were built much earlier in the early 1850s. Good lens catch with your camera!!
